If you need a custom development for your website that goes beyond the scope of our website package support plans, you’re in the right place. We can do it in-house with hourly sprints as a one-time project separate from your normal hosting package.
40 Hours Max Sprint
If the project is up to or less than 40 hours, purchase it here as a single sprint and we can turn it around typically in one to four weeks, depending on the complexity of the project. Our hourly rate for dev sprints purchased this way is discounted as listed on this page in the dropdown menu.
Our normal development pace is about 10 to 15 hours per week and usually get started within 1-5 business days of purchase. (fluctuates based on the time of year and current development workload)
About Development Sprints
A development “sprint” is a focused, short goal that is developed towards in an Agile development fashion. In Agile product development, a sprint is formally defined as a set period of time during which specific work has to be completed and made ready for review. If you’re curious to learn more, there are lots of great articles online about Agile Development, like this one. We SCRUM internally daily, so you won’t have to worry about that, but you can be in the loop and have a weekly call to review progress or add input while we’re in development.
Your project will be managed internally so that you don’t have to. That said, if you have a sprint on the longer side (double digit hours) we may set up a PJM board with a ticket management system where we can organize every aspect of the project more visually for you (and us). We use these internally already, but if the project is large enough, we will make one dedicated to just that project and open it up to the client to participate in as well. For small projects, we’ll be done and ready to review pretty quickly, so it’s probably not necessary.
Not for Support
For Bug Fixes, Maintenance, Regular System Updates, Check Your Support Plan Instead.
Keep in mind that any BUGS, error fixes, or routine maintenance updates do not need custom development sprints, as it is covered by your hosting support plan. Custom development hours are strictly for projects that add-to, enhance, or upgrade a site or its features.
